Magyar holds still the same kind of facination & attraction as every other language did when I was about 11 years old. Then I started to learn languages and acquire bits wherever I went. The fact that Magyar remains a European language that has no familiarities to me (along with Basque & Portuguese 'teenage')is what does it. Spellbinding!
I think magyar is somehow conneceted to magic in my mind, probably that´s why it sounds the way it does. Also it´s amazing that we just can´t understand anything we hear.
